If you own or run a website and are looking for ways to make your life easier, then this list of recommendations for website publishers might just help you.
The below website tools are ones that I have found to be immensely useful and helpful. I personally find it really stressful to deal with admin around running a site, so these tools have improved my work-life dramatically.
My main criteria for making recommendations for website tools are value for money, ease of use, and customer service. There are many services which bundle together lots of things I simply don’t need, so I am always interested in finding specifically useful services which keep my overheads low. I also want to be able to solve most problems myself quickly and easily – but if I find something I can’t deal with I want to know that I’m supported.
Due to these three criteria, I am a big fan of all the below services. They have all helped me out when I need it, and let me focus on the more enjoyable parts of running a site. If you’re a website publisher, I highly recommend considering the below. If you have any recommendations to add to this list, drop me a line at justin@theonlineadvertisingguide.com.

Cookie & Privacy Policy Generator: Iubenda
All websites need a Cookie Policy and Privacy Policy to deal with various international laws. It is frankly too stressful a task to deal with without a professional service such as Iubenda – who are luckily both incredibly convenient and cost-effective.
Website Builder: WordPress.org
There are many ways to build a website, but for most small business purposes WordPress.org is the best choice. This is because it’s free, commonly used (so you can Google any problem you have), and exceptionally versatile.
