A House Ad is an ad that advertised your products or services on your site. They are generally used as the backstop for your ad tags – as in if your ad server can’t find another paid ad to show then it will show your house ad.
Due to this, it is common to refer to whatever is used as the ad-of-last-resort as a House Ad (which is commonly AdSense) however this is technically incorrect.
