Definition: CSAI [Client Side Ad Insertion]

CSAI is when a streaming device (such as a smart TV, gaming console, or streaming USB stick) inserts an ad into a TV show.

This only happens on ad-supported streaming channels. This form of ad insertion (where it happens on the device) is susceptible to ad blockers.
