Augmented Reality is a way of digitally adding more details to an image recorded on a camera in real-time, which is now commonly used in advertising.
For example, you could look at your living room through your smartphone’s camera, and have different items of furniture appear so you could see what they look like before you buy them.
AR has always seemed like a novelty. However, it is now a good way for a society that is now cautious of social contact to buy things from their home which would traditionally require an in-store experience.
